ABOUT BRANICK FIREWOOD
Branick Firewood started in 2008 supplying firewood to family, friends and local residents. The need for consistent quality wood and good service soon became evident. Along with a quality product Branick also puts customer service at the forefront of its business. We want all of our customers to feel comfortable knowing we stand behind our product.
Ever expanding Branick Firewood now sells to customers in areas from Guelph, Orangeville, Shelburne, Alliston and beyond. In addition to firewood we offer custom processing at your site as well as tree removal and stump grinding. Quality firewood and excellent service are the hallmarks of our business.
TYPES OF FIREWOOD
Maple
Common in Southern Ontario Maple is high in BTU’s and has a consistent quality. Excellent for keeping the stove warm over night it is a popular choice for burning.
Ash
An easy splitter, Ash has excellent coaling qualities and is great for getting a nice warm fire burning in a short time.
Oak
High in BTU’s Oak is a good choice for burning. Extremely dense Oak is great for keeping a fire burning throughout the day.
Black Cherry
A reddish hardwood with dark bark Black Cherry has a pleasant aroma and a blue flame when burned.
Birch
Highly favored Birch has a pleasant smell and nice crackling sounds when burned. Easy to start Birch is a great choice for getting the fire started.
Beech
With its smooth gray bark Beech is easy to distinguish. High in BTU’s Beech is an excellent hardwood for keeping warm on cold nights.
